The Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 7 FE and Z Fold 7 passed 3C database in China recently. Now, the Galaxy Z Flip 7 FE has been spotted on the certification platform. Numerous reports have indicated that the company is working on a fan edition of the next-generation clamshell flip phone. However, yesterday, it was also reported that the device could be delayed and a change in the processor powering the FE and standard models.
Highlights

- The device will reportedly not ship with a bundled charger.
- The Galaxy Z Flip 7 FE is now rumoured to get Exynos 2500 SoC and launch later instead of alongside the Z Fold 7 and Z Flip 7.
Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 7 FE charging speed revealed
- The Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 7 FE has been listed on 3C (via) with model number SM-F7610 which is for the China market.
- This is line with a similar model number spotted on Samsung’s OTA server i.e SM-F761B (EUX) where the ‘B’ hints at an European variant.
- The certification listing mentions that the device was tested with a EP-TA800 charger.
- It offers a maximum output of 25W confirming support for the charging speed on the Galaxy Z Flip 7 FE.
- The database also reveals support for 5G connectivity and the device will ship without a bundled charger in the box.
- Going by 3C, the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 7 FE will have the same charging speed like the Z Fold 7 and Z Flip 7.
- However, the obvious difference is that the FE model is expected to be an affordable foldable offering.

Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 7 FE: what we know so far
- Past reports suggested that Samsung could switch to Exynos from Snapdragon chipset on this year’s Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 7 FE models.
- However, as per the recent development, the South Korean brand could stick to Snapdragon 8 Elite on the standard variant.
- Meanwhile, the Galaxy Z Flip 7 FE could reportedly be powered by Exynos 2500 SoC instead of the previously rumoured Exynos 2400e. The former was initially expected to power the Galaxy S25 series.
- This is because the company’s foundry is facing challenges in production of 3nm chipsets.
- The report also states that the Galaxy Z Flip 7 FE could see a delayed launch, arriving several months later than the Z Fold 7 and Z Flip 7 which are expected to debut in July this year.
- To recall, the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Galaxy Z Flip 6 debuted at a starting price tag of Rs 1,09,999 and Rs 1,64,999, respectively.
