An internet leak of a photograph purporting to be of the Xiaomi 15 Pro has made its design public.
While the Xiaomi 15 Ultra may be released in January of next year, the Xiaomi 15 Pro may be released later this month.
Next month, the Xiaomi 15 series—which includes the Xiaomi 15 and Xiaomi 15 Pro models—is scheduled to launch in China. In addition to these two devices, the Xiaomi 15 Ultra is said to be added in January of the following year.
The Xiaomi 15 series is expected to replace the Xiaomi 14 series and have improved hardware configurations. Prior to the phones’ release, some important information has leaked online.
Xiaomi 15 Ultra to bring periscope camera upgrade
The 200MP telephoto camera on the Xiaomi 15 Ultra was initially made public by Ice Universe. Additional details about that camera are now available in a fresh Weibo tip. The 200MP 100mm lens on the Xiaomi 15 Ultra corresponds to a zoom of almost 4.3 times. The lens will feature an f/2.6 aperture. In contrast, a 50MP 120mm f/2.5 lens periscope (5x) was provided with the 14 Ultra.
There are rumors that the Xiaomi 15 Ultra will include two telephoto cameras: the primary 200MP module and a secondary 50MP 3x module similar to the other members of the Xiaomi 15 series.

In addition to the Xiaomi 15 Ultra, Wang Xiaoyan, vice president of the Xiaomi Group, has been seen holding what looks to be a Xiaomi 15 Pro device. The spy photo shows a rear camera arrangement that is identical to what the previously leaked mockups showed.
It is readily confused for the Xiaomi 14 Pro at first appearance, but the LED flash outside the primary camera island—rather than the other way around—is what sets it apart. With that exception, the Xiaomi 15 Pro’s general design language seems to have stayed the same as that of the Xiaomi 14 Pro.
